Nickel Silver Bronze

Nickel silver bronze, also known as nickel silver or German silver, is not actually a bronze but a copper-based alloy primarily composed of copper, nickel, and often zinc. This alloy is valued for its silver-like appearance and resistance to tarnish, which makes it a popular choice for applications requiring a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. Nickel silver bronze offers good corrosion resistance and can be easily cast and machined, attributes that have led to its widespread use in various industries, including jewelry, flatware, marine hardware, and automotive components. Its non-magnetic properties also make it suitable for electrical and electronic applications where such characteristics are beneficial. Despite its name, nickel silver bronze does not contain any significant amount of silver, but it maintains a desirable combination of properties that contribute to its enduring popularity in numerous applications.
