Copper Nickel

Copper nickel is a copper-based alloy in which nickel is the main alloying element, often including other elements such as iron, manganese, and zinc. This alloy is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, good strength and excellent thermal conductivity. Copper-nickel alloys are particularly useful in Marine environments because of their resistance to seawater corrosion and are often used in shipbuilding, Marine engineering and desalination equipment. In addition, its antibacterial properties make it very popular in medical devices and hygiene applications as well. Copper-nickel alloys also have good weldability and workability, enabling them to be manufactured into parts of various shapes and sizes. The thermoelectric properties of this alloy also make it suitable for manufacturing heat exchangers, condensers, and other applications that require efficient heat conduction. These properties of copper-nickel alloys make them a valuable material of choice in many industrial and commercial applications.
