Phosphor Bronze

Phosphor bronze is a phosphorus-containing copper alloy known for its excellent elasticity, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The addition of phosphorus significantly improves the strength and hardness of the alloy, while maintaining the good electrical and thermal conductivity of copper. Phosphor bronze is commonly used to make components that require high strength and elasticity, such as springs, washers, bearings and electrical contactors. In addition, it has good fatigue resistance, which makes it particularly useful in applications that experience repeated stresses. The corrosion resistance of phosphor bronze also makes it suitable for use in Marine environments and chemical processing equipment. It also has good casting properties and machinability, making it ideal for a variety of industrial applications.

Note: We provide you with a variety of product forms, including but not limited to: Plate/Sheet/Circle, Coil/Strip, Pipe/Tube, Bar/Rod, Wire, Fitting (Flange, Elbow, Tee...), Customize, welcome to consult!

C510 Phosphor Bronze alloy possesses a higher yield strength than is readily available in most cast products. Typical applications for phosphor bronze include bearings, bushings, gears, pinions, shafts, thrust washers, and valve parts. C51000 Phosphor bronze can be readily brazed or soldered. The capacity for being cold worked is good.
